Synopsis
Sold as a Honda model outside of North America, the 2017 NSX is an AWD hybrid supercar that succeeds the original NSX produced in Japan between 1990 and 2005.
The 2017 Acura NSX is based on the 2012 Acura NSX Concept first shown at the 2012 North American International Auto Show, a two-door mid-engined coupe with all-wheel-drive. The NSX’s engine is a 3.5L (3,493 cc) twin-turbocharged V6 that transmits power to the rear wheels and, is paired with three electric motors, Sport Hybrid All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) and a nine-speed dual-clutch transmission. The total combined power output is 573 hp (427 kW) and 623 ft·lb (845 N·m) of torque, although the Forza Motorsport 7 rendition of the NSX has 577 hp (430 kW) instead.
