2020 Bentley Mulsanne

The largest, priciest and most luxurious Bentley continues to be its flagship car. Although it only sells several hundred units worldwide per year, it continues to epitomize the highest pinnacle in the luxury car hierarchy. Admittedly, the Mulsanne is overdue for an update and unfortunately that is not going to happen in time for the 2020 model year. Word has it that the next generation Mulsanne will feature hybrid and fully-electric engine options. For the meantime, it continues to exclusively use the 6.8L twin-turbocharged V8 engine shared with many Rolls Royce models.

Everything You Need to Know About 2020 Bentley Models Including Prices, Specs & Reviews

Updated: January 10th, 2020

Bentley is an indispensable member of the British luxury car quadrumvirate (alongside Jaguar, Rolls-Royce and Aston Martin). The Volkswagen Group subsidiary is headquartered in Crewe, England, and is celebrating its centenary year in 2020. Infamous for its iconic grand tourers and sedans – namely, the Continental and Mulsanne respectively – Bentley has also recently entered the SUV-space with the introduction of the Bentayga, which has quickly set the tone as the brand’s best seller.

Although the uber-luxury automaker is not adding any new models to the lineup for 2020, they are making some tweaks to the current offerings in the hopes of spurring sales and growing market share over the coming years. The Flying Spur is the latest vehicle to undergo a redesign – just in time for 2020.

The new-gen Continental is the beneficiary of the most notable changes, with the introduction of a new optional V8 engine to complement the previously standard V12 unit, as well as a convertible variant which was not available for the previous model year. These should certainly be factors in generating more overall appeal for the model, providing a wider variety of configurations and a lower price-of-entry.

For the near future, Bentley has been aggressively preparing their entire roster for the utilization of plug-in hybrid drivetrains. On the more long term battlefront, we can expect fully electric models as well. It looks like Bentley is playing the long game here, as it looks to remain relevant in the years and decades to come.

Here is the complete range of Bentley automobiles available for 2020.

Current 2020 Bentley SUV Lineup

2020 Bentley Bentayga

Like so many other premium and exotic automakers, Bentley has brought their A-game to the SUV segment, looking to establish its dominance in this competitive and highly lucrative market. The Bentayga is a midsize crossover SUV which has become the marque’s best seller since it was made available in the 2016 model year. There are two petrol-engine options; a more-than-capable 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8 and a 6.0L twin-turbocharged W12. The latter will be more expensive, that’s for sure, but will also allow the Bentayga to hold the current title as the world’s fastest SUV. Diesel and Hybrid engines are also available, making for a diverse Bentayga roster equipped to suit just about any palette.

2020 Bentley Bentayga V8

Base price: $165,000Engine: 4.0L twin-turbocharged V8Power: 542 hp @ 6,000 rpmTorque: 568 lb-ft @ 2,000 rpm0-60 mph: 4.4 s

The Bentayga V8 is our favorite SUV right now. It has the kind of refinement you expect from Bentley with very strong performance too. The new cutting-edge V8 engine delivers almost 550 hp and acceleration is instant and continues to pull like a train. Handling is great too with the 2020 Bentayga V8 more agile than you would ever expect.

2020 Bentley Bentayga W12

Base price: $229,100Engine: 6.0L twin-turbocharged W12Power: 600 hp @ 5,000 rpmTorque: 664 lb-ft @ 1,350 rpm0-60 mph: 4.0 s

Bentayga is unlike any other sport utility vehicle in the world. This powerful, all-terrain, all-purpose car offers an exceptional driving experience. As well as having the most technically advanced engine in its category, it has Mulliner Driving Specification fitted as standard and a choice of more paint colors than any other SUV.

2020 Bentley Bentayga Speed W12

Base price: $300,000Engine: 6.0L twin-turbocharged W12Power: 626 hp @ 5,000 rpmTorque: 664 lb-ft @ 1,350 rpm0-60 mph: 3.8 s

This is the top-dog Bentayga. Bentley says it is the fastest SUV in the world. All we know is that the sprint from standstill to 60 mph is over in an insane (for SUV) 3.8 seconds and the Speed W12 goes on to a top speed of 190 mph. It isn’t just about straight line because this SUV handles better than you would ever expect from a car of this size and weight.
